XML Applications and Initiatives

Contents Listing for XML Applications and Industry Initiatives

Many markup language applications in industry, government, and academia which began in the 1985-1998 timeframe as SGML applications have subsequently migrated to XML using XML DTDs, W3C XML Schemas, or other schema languages. Projects listed below are principally those which began as XML applications in 1998 or later. These applications and initiatives are not (here) categorized under fixed labels, but in many cases one will find related or similar topics grouped together. Should you fail to find a relevant TOC entry here, you may use the website search facilities or execute a Web browser search in the text of the Site Index document (load the document, then Edit -> Find or Search -> Find).
