XHTML-FML: Forms Markup Language

[April 19, 2000] From the XHTML-FML version 1.0 specification: "This specification defines XHTML-FML 1.0 which extends a subset of XHTML 1.1 by a Forms Markup Language, based on the Modularization of XHTML. The document describes the semantics of the elements and attributes found in the Forms Markup Language (FML) in XHTML-FML. The XHTML semantics in XHTML-FML 1.0 are defined in the W3C Recommendation for HTML 4 [HTML4]. The purpose of FML is to improve the functionality and handling of web application interfaces in the tradition of the HTML 4.0 Forms tagset. FML focuses on dynamic web interfaces that cover multiple screen pages but originate from a single document, including input validation, navigation, event handling, template management and run-time calculations."

'Appendix B' of the draft specification presents the XHTML-FML 1.0 Document Type Definition
