Co-inventor of XML 1.0 to Speak at CSW's XML Summer School 2005

CSW Group is pleased to announce that Tim Bray, Director of Web Technologies at Sun Microsystems and co inventor of XML 1.0 will speak at their sixth XML Summer School on Trends & Transients in XML.
The XML Summer School 2005, hosted by CSW Group (www.csw.co.uk) is being held at Wadham College, University of Oxford, between 24th and 29th July and has some of the world's most knowledgeable XML industry experts sharing their skills and experience. This year, Tim Bray will be joining the event for what promises to be an entertaining and informative debate on the trends and hype behind XML.
Other highlights include a new two-day XSLT Track featuring a 'Hands-on Introduction to XSLT and XSL-FO' and 'XQuery and Advanced XSLT' presented by Bob DuCharme, Dave Pawson, Michael Kay and Jeni Tennison.
As with previous XML Summer Schools, the programme features three main tracks to provide a rich learning experience for delegates with any level of background knowledge, plus delegates are able to combine seminars from all of the different tracks and thus tailor the programme to their specific needs. They can choose from the Hands-on Introduction Track which features a two day Hands on Introduction to XML; a one day Hands on Introduction to XSLT and XSL-FO and a one day Practical Introduction to Ontologies and OWL; a Technical Track for those wanting to explore some of the essential topics in more detail; and an Applications Track focusing on the use of XML in the specific market sectors of e-Government, Healthcare and News & Media.
