In short, 'RELAX' is a new schema language for XML.

2. RELAX can validates datatypes. (DTD can't)
3. RELAX grammer is more powerful than that of DTD.

Check out http://www.xml.gr.jp/relax/ for more about RELAX. XML.com published a article about RELAX at http://www.xml.com/pub/2000/02/xtech/relax.html.

- Tired of complicated specification? Just take it easy and let's RELAX!
