Today Systinet announced the Beta availability of WASP Server for Java, 5.0, the latest release of the company's award-winning solution for creating and running Java Web services applications.
WASP Server for Java is the most advanced Web services platform for Java and J2EE environments, and this 5.0 release includes unique new functionality and standards support unavailable in any other product.
WASP Server for Java Features
The new 5.0 release includes:
Reliable Messaging with WS-ReliableMessaging Support — WASP is the first and only Web services platform to provide full support for reliable messaging. Systinet WASP Server for Java, 5.0 fully supports the WS-ReliableMessaging (WS-RM) standard, with both one-way, synchronous (request/response) and asynchronous messaging.
WS-Addressing Support — WASP also fully supports WS-Addressing, which provides transport independent addressing and enables the creation of reliable, asynchronous Web services.
New Admin Console Simplifies Web Services configuration and Test — The WASP administration console has been redesigned and extended to make Web service configuration, management and testing even easier. New functionality includes an HTML Invocation Console that automatically creates HTML forms from WSDL definitions for testing deployed Web services.
Support for Netegrity SiteMinder — WASP fully integrates with Netegrity SiteMinder. WASP Server for Java, 5.0 can accept security information propogated by Netegrity using a wide range of authentication credentials.
