OpenTravel Alliance Releases 2002B Specification for Public Review

Washington, DC, USA. November 13, 2002.

The OpenTravel Alliance (OTA) announced today the release of Version 2002B of its Extensible Markup Language (XML) specification for public review and comment.

Comments may be submitted via the website until November 29, 2002. This latest specification expands on the messages previously published offering additional opportunities for trading partners within the travel industry to communicate with one another.

The application of best practices and the redefinition of the XML component constructs to the specification continue on the path of seamless integration and enhanced interoperability within all disciplines of the travel sector.
