Subject: Final alpha release of XED:  lots of new features

The final (I hope) alpha release (0.3.1) of XED is now available for evaluation:

There are lots of new features, and some changes to the UI, so I hope those of you who have made helpful comments and tried things out will take the time to re-download this version. Changes since the last announcement include:
