----------------------------------------------------------------- I am very pleased to announce the availability, on line, of two new books in SGML. 1) La construction de l'anthropologie quebecoise : melanges offerts a Marc-Adelard Tremblay / sous la direction de Francois Trudel, Paul Charest, Yvan Breton. These two books are in French and were published to honour two distinguished professors of the Universite Laval (Quebec, Canada). The first one discusses the contributions of Marc-Adelard Tremblay to the field of Anthropology in the province of Quebec. The second one explain the work of an eminent sociologist, Fernand Dumont, in the understanding of the culture of Quebec. 70 scholars have contributed to these books. I have used the ISO 12083 DTD to tag these works in SGML. Then, using a style sheet with Softquad Panorama, I derived a version in HTML. I did this experience in electronic publication in SGML at the Ecole de bibliotheconomie et des sciences de l'information (School of Library and Information Science) of the Universite de Montreal. You can peruse these books (in SGML OR in HTML) now at http://www.bibl.ulaval.ca/doelec/pul/ Comments are welcome.
