Nortel and RELTEC will be jointly sponsoring the February IPI meeting in
Tahoe, California. On Tuesday, February 18, the IPI Committee will be
providing a tutorial introducing SGML and the TIM and TEDD guidelines
developed by the IPI committee. More information about the tutorial will
be following soon. The regular IPI team and business meetings will be
held Wednesday, February 19, through Friday, February 21.

The room rates have been guaranteed for $138 single, $148 double. (There
is a $10 additional charge for suites with 2 double beds.) The room rates
include a cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and a two-hour hosted
Manager's reception each evening. Cancellations or early departures
within 72 hours from the date of arrival will be billed for a one-night
suite and tax. When making your reservations, please mention that you

TCIF/IPI members will make a strong effort to "buddy" with new members in
order to help them adopt to the committee and understand its structure and
what's going on in the committee.

IPI Members:
As discussed at the December IPI Committee meeting, we will be providing
an SGML and TIM/TEDD introduction tutorial in conjuction with the
February IPI meeting. We feel that it is important to target individuals
and companies that would benefit by participating on the IPI committee
but do not fully understand how it will benefit them. Many of you have
expressed ideas about who to invite and we would like to capture those
ideas.
Please consider individuals within your own company as well as customers
or manufacturers that you work with who you feel should receive an
invitation. Please provide contact information (at least a name and
address, but phone, fax, and email is also helpful) for the individuals
or companies you feel should receive an invitation.
