The annual "SGML Year in Review," produced by Yuri Rubinsky and others, provides a survey of happenings in the SGML world for the previous calendar year. These reports are typically delivered at one or more of the major SGML conferences, and are printed in the dedicated SGML serial publications. The yearly reviews supply valuable summaries of the progress of SGML in industry, academic, and government sectors.
