Subject: XML 1.0 Errata, one year later

One year and one week after the release of XML 1.0, we have finally <blush> updated the errata document. Go to http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml [the XML 1.0 Specification] and follow the link in the "Status of this Document" section.

This is a moving target; we have approximately 50 reported errata, and the WG whose responsibility this is has plowed through maybe half of them, accepting all but a couple as real; so this document will grow in the near future - I'll announce that too.

Thanks are in order to the very many people who combed through the XML spec and identified these problems - I suspect that nearly every such person reads this mailing list. -Tim
