Language usage

• It’s not enough to know the character encoding used for an element’s content

• The language, locale, etc. can make a difference in display and processing

• Special attribute specifies the language

  <!ATTLIST docxml:lang CDATA #IMPLIED>
  

• Attribute value has parts
