• Definition of schema: Constraints and semantic interpretations placed on a data set

• DTDs are one kind of schema

  • SGML parser or XML processor validates using them

• Could have other kinds, in other languages

  • Architecture engines could validate

• Now…how will dynamic combination of data sets using different schemas be done?
