Availability of ISO/IEC 15445 HTML in HTML

Following the instructions given in Alexandria (N1944), your editors are pleased to announce the availability of the Final CD 15445 HTML in HTML. This specification conforms to itself and to the "strict" version of the W3C's Recommendation for HTML 4.0. The HTML file was built using a production process which featured

• An "almost HTML" DTD which enforces the strict nesting of sections.
• An internal subset which references a file containing many entities specifying specific links to the W3C Recommendation for HTML 4.0.
• The use of James Clark's sgmlnorn program which creates a `normalized' version of the document which has no internal subset and no entity references.
• A simple `scrubber' which removes the non-HTML tags from the normalized document.
• Confirmation of the resulting document's conformance using James Clark's nsgmls program and the W3C HTML 4.0 validator service.

Availability of a User's Guide to ISO/IEC 15445 HTML
