SGML'97 will be held in Washington, DC, December 8-11, 1997 preceeded by a
full day of tutorials on Sunday, December 7th. The SGML'97 Committee is
soliciting tutorial proposals now so that information about the tutorials
can be included in early conference publicity. We hope to field a great set
of varied tutorials this year.
If you are interested in presenting a tutorial at SGML'97 please send the
following information to <sgml97@mulberrytech.com> before April 5th:

Summary of Teaching Experience
Have you taught or presented at any GCA events?
Teaching Reference; Name, address, phone number of someone who has
seen you teach in English
Brief biography
Information about the Tutorial:
Title
Expected audience (who you think might take your tutorial)
Prerequisites (what the audience must know before your tutorial)
Abstract (50 to 100 words describing the tutorial, for use in
publicity)
Synopsis (1000 to 5000 words summarizing the content of the course,
including a syllabus and schedule)
Previous places this tutorial has been presented
Your compensation for teaching a tutorial is free registration for the full
conference and a copy of the conference proceedings. If you have any
