The new OmniMark Version 3 is an exciting quantum leap forward that will provide fantastic opportunities for OmniMark programmers and their organizations. Previews of an OmniMark V3 application demonstration at spring tradeshows were met with enthusiasm. Whole new classes of application are envisioned for this exciting technology. Don't miss this chance to meet with the developers of OmniMark and fellow OmniMark users. The annual OmniMark User Group Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 17th, 1996 in Boston, Massachusetts. As at OMUG last year, technology tutorials will be presented on Saturday, November 16th. OMUG '96 precedes the SGML '96 conference being held November 18th to 22nd. OMUG '96, including the technology tutorials, is a FREE event sponsored by Omnimark Technologies. You do not need to be an OmniMark licensee to attend. Attendence at OMUG has been increasing every year since its inception in 1993. Last year attendance topped 140. Each year, OMUG gives attendees the chance to expand their knowledge of OmniMark so that they can plan new projects and learn about the new opportunities that the technology offers. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is OMUG? The OmniMark User Group (OMUG) is an Omnimark Technologies-sponsored forum providing a peer support network for OmniMark users and programmers for development and exchange of tips, techniques, ideas and applications relating to OmniMark. The OmniMark User Group internet mailing list (OMUG-L) and the annual meeting fall under OMUG's umbrella. You do not need to be an OmniMark licensee to attend the meeting or participate in online discussions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Main Event Program On Sunday November 17th, the main OMUG event takes place. Presenters from the user base will discuss their innovative uses of OmniMark, and Omnimark Technologies will present detailed information on OmniMark V3 and its application. As in previous years, Omnimark Technologies will also discuss future plans for OmniMark.
