I am very pleased to announce the publicly available Resource
Descriptive Framework RDF Model and Syntax draft specification. RDF,
under the auspice of the W3C, is designed to provide an infrastructure
to support metadata across many web-based activities. RDF is the result
of a number of metadata communities (including the Dublin Core and
Warwick Framework) bringing together their needs to provide a robust and
flexible architecture for supporting metadata on the WWW.
