To obtain a better picture of the trends in the SGML industry, NICE technologies 
are making an up to date inventory of all SGML related products.  The URL of this 
list is http://www.nicetech.com/venprod.htm. 

This information was gathered by us from a variety of sources (Steve Pepper's 
Whirlwind guide, Robin Cover's SGML pages, Brian Travis and Dale Waldt's
SGML Implementation guide, our own market research). It has not been verified by 
the companies that are listed (yet). We have concentrated on vendors of products 
rather than on consultants and systems integrators. Please contact us (at 
info@nicetech.com) and we will update the information where necessary. 

We tried to determine at least whether the products are still sold and supported. 
We are also trying to determine the user needs for SGML products.

Please use the questionnaire at http://www.nicetech.com/ideasur.htm to correct the 
information (if you are a vendor of an SGML product) or to supply us with 
information concerning your needs (if you are a user of an SGML product).

Vendors that fill in the vendor questionnaire, will receive a free copy of the 
report containing the results of our research as a token of our gratitude.

The first 100 users to fill in the user questionnaire will receive $25 cash (only 
one prize per IP number and per company).
