Footnote: During the following week, ANSI X3V1, the locus of the
original design work of SGML, will meet in the same city.
Among the topics of discussion at that meeting will be SMSL
(Standard Multimedia Scripting Language) and MID (Metafile
for Interactive Documents, an application of HyTime aimed at
Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals [IETMs]). BTW, MID
is is likely to be the focus of more than one presentation
at the HyTime Conference. It has been implemented and it
works.
