The following updated information and software examples are now available for
the Metafile for Interactive Documents (MID). MID is a proposed U.S. Navy
standard for scripting of interactive hypermedia documents (such as IETMs),
and is an implementation of ISO 10744 (HyTime). It is generally applicable to
any hypermedia document that needs to be maintained over time, or is developed
using distributed resources.

An example MID browser (HyMID) can be downloaded, but you will have to have
Windows95 or WinNT 3.51 to run it. It uses TechnoTeacher's HyMinder(TM) HyTime
engine in the form of a DLL. There are 2 example MID instances in the package.
