-----------------------------------------------------------------
I can now confirm that the Jadetex package, an implementation of the
TeX skeleton produced by "jade -t tex", processes Jon Bosak's 10_mail
and 20_tsmt examples more or less correctly. It has problems with the
tables in 21_shaks file at present. I am trying to get to grips with
tables.
I would like to stress that this Jadetex set of macros is not intended
as a final solution. It is built on top of LaTeX, for speed of
development, and to test the relationship between DSSSL and TeX. When
it is clear what to do, it would be sensible to put more intelligence
into the Jade TeX backend itself, and to rewrite the TeX macros. If
anyone wants to dive into this anyway, great!
Any comments very welcome. Jadetex can be found on CTAN in
macros/jadetex. Coming soon - implementation of math :-}
