Inso Announces the 1999 International User Group Conference; More than 200 Attendees from the World's Largest Organizations to Gather in New York City

BOSTON, MA. February 12, 1999

Inso Corporation today announced its 1999 International User Group Conference to be held next week from Wednesday, February 17 to Saturday, February 20 at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. More than 200 attendees from the world's largest organizations will participate in a four-day, three-track conference packed with a variety of informational sessions. The conference, and its accompanying day of tutorials, will provide Inso customers with the opportunity for direct contact with Inso engineers, product management and senior staff. Customers will also learn how to use Inso's cutting-edge technology to exchange, publish and deploy business-critical information.

Numerous speakers will present at the event, including Steven Vana-Paxhia, Inso president and CEO, Rita Knox, GartnerGroup vice president and research director, and Frank Gilbane, a director at CAP Ventures and editor of the Gilbane Report. Also presenting are William Zoellick, a partner at Web consulting firm, Fastwater LLP, and Inso vice presidents Graham Marshall, Sebastian Holst and Scott Norder. In addition, several Inso customers, including Quantum Corporation, State Street Bank and Perkin-Elmer Applied Biosystems, will present case studies of implementations of Inso technology.

Inso will also conduct half-day tutorials where users can interact with Inso's technology experts and discuss topics such as electronic publishing, document exchange and evolving Web standards. Attendees will discover advanced tips and techniques on how to best use Inso technologies and learn about new features in Inso products. Customers will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of forums offering interaction with other customers who share common interests. An exhibition area is included that will feature demonstrations of the latest Inso technology.
