We are pleased to announce the availability of IBMIDDoc for
anonymous FTP. The location is:
ftp://ftp.raleigh.ibm.com
in
pub/guides/ibmiddoc
IBMIDDoc is IBM's technical documentation DTD. It is a follow-on
to IBM'S GML BookMaster product but there is no commitment that
IBMIDDoc will ever be released as a product.
IBMIDDoc is defined at three levels:
1) architectural forms define the base semantics
2) an 'architectural' DTD which defines more than is
currently defined in the production DTD
3) the production DTD, which is called IBMIDDoc
For those of you who have been asking about this and waiting
patiently, we appreciate your patience.
Please feel free to send questions, comments or criticisms to
wohler@vnet.ibm.com, my business e-mail address
or this Compuserve address which is personal.
I will be out of the office until 2 Jan 96.
