The research unit on Document Architectures at the University of Leuven (Belgium)
is organising a three-day introductory course on HyTime from October 22 till
October 24.
The course will consist of two parts: an overview of the HyTime standard (two days)
and Topic Navigation Maps
The overview of HyTime will consider the following topics:
- What is HyTime for?
- Who is using HyTime?
- Who could be using HyTime?
- The relationship of HyTime and SGML
- Architectural forms and meta-DTDs
- An introduction to the HyTime modules
- Practical examples, HyTime application modelling and implementation considerations
The introduction on Topic Navigation Maps will consider the architecture, the
modelling and designing, and an example of a Topic Navigation Map application.
The course will be given by Dr Michel Biezunski from High Text SARL.
Registration has to be done before the end of September.
