You can find the proceedings of the 3rd GCA International HyTime
Conference at the url:
http://www.hightext.com/IHC96
The Conference was held in Seattle, August 20 and 21, 1996 and has
been chaired by Steven R. Newcomb (TechnoTeacher, Inc.). The
proceedings include papers from Michael Anderson, Michel Biezunski,
David Cooper, Carla Corkern, Lois Delcambre, Charles Goldfarb,
Catherine Hamon, Eliot Kimber, Peter Newcomb, Steve Newcomb and Alan
Talbot.
The proceedings have been published using EnLIGHTeN, an application
being developed at High Text, for the creation and the maintenance of
hyperlinks among multiple electronic documents (Input formats: ASCII,
HTML, SGML). EnLIGHTeN maintains a database of links and contains one
feature that enables HTML export.
The HTML indexes and links, and all specific pages for navigation that
appear in the proceedings have been created by EnLIGHTeN.
EnLIGHTeN is a solution for managing links within Intranet applications.
EnLIGHTeN uses a model based on the Topic Map Architecture, a way to
represent multiple document indexes, tables of contents, and thesauri
and an application of SGML and HyTime. It is a new ISO standard
project (ISO/IEC 13250). More information on it can be found on High
Text' web site (http://www.hightext.com), as well as on the WG8 Web
site
