The Digital Library Federation is pleased to announce a two-day meeting on the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) to be held at the Library of Congress, Washington, DC. Michael Sperberg-McQueen (co-editor TEI Guidelines and co-editor XML specification; University of Illinois, Chicago) and Lou Burnard (co-editor TEI Guidelines; Oxford University) will be among the invited guests.
