This is to announce availability of a new mildly improved version of the pizzaChef TEI dtd builder. Actually, it's been available for weeks, but I kept thinking I'd find time to polish off a few more bugs, add a little more gee-whizzery etc. Which I clearly won't, so I thought it would be a good idea to get some more feedback first.

You can access the page at:

      http://firth.natcorp.ox.ac.uk/TEI/nupizza.htm

What it does: allows you to select the TEI tagsets you want from a menu, and also to pick out individual elements for inclusion, exclusion, or modification. You can then download a customized DTD subset, or a completely compiled (i.e., non parameterized) DTD for use by e.g., Softquad's Rulesbuilder. (This last function is accomplished by means of MSMCQ's [Michael Sperberg-McQueen's] excellent carthage program.)

The page also includes links to the various online versions of P3 currently served by the world's finest digital repositories (you know who you are).

Comments, and especially suggestions for improvement, gratefully received!

Lou
