The purpose of the XML-Based Provisioning Services TC (PSTC) is to define an XML-based framework for exchanging user, resource, and service provisioning information.

The PSTC will produce a set of one or more Committee Specifications that cover use cases and requirements, information model, protocol(s), bindings, and conformance, all of the aforementioned to be examined with respect to security considerations.

The work will take the Active Digital Profile (ADPr), the eXtensible Resource Provisioning Management (XRPM), and the Information Technology Markup Language (ITML) Provisioning specifications, along with any other relevant and timely submissions into consideration.

The goal (subject to revision) is to submit a Committee Specification to the OASIS membership for its approval by September 2002.
